The CPP CS series brake kits feature a newly engineered direct fit spindle that seamlessly integrates with factory steering arms, offering a simple yet effective upgrade to your braking system. This spindle is equipped with a C7 bearing hub assembly, which mitigates the flex issues associated with the original spindle pin, a concern that can result in caliper piston pushback, particularly when utilizing aftermarket multi-piston radial mount calipers. Each kit includes 13” C5 drilled and slotted rotors, C5 twin piston calipers, and stainless steel hoses to enhance overall performance.
This kit is specifically tailored for vehicles with 17-inch wheels or larger, making it an ideal option for those aiming to maximize performance with 18-20” wheels. The brake kits are designed with a 5 on 4.75 bolt pattern and employ 7/16 x 20 studs, while the C7 hubs come with 1/2 x 20 holes, allowing for the possibility of upgrading to larger studs if desired. This brake kit is compatible with 1970-81 F Body and 1975-79 X Body applications.
