How to Install CPP’s New Sway Bars

How tough is it to install these new sway bars? Check out the video below where Jason Scudellari walks you through the process, step by step. He installs both the front and rear bars on a 1967 Chevelle so you can get a feel for what it will take on our car.

High-Clearance Front Adjustable Sway Bar (6481HCSBK)

6481HCSBK fits 1964-1972 A-Body/Chevelle and 1970-1981 Camaro

CPP’s new High Clearance sway bar features a precision laser cut 3/8” leg that fits tight to the chassis allowing for significantly larger front tires.  Rod ends are used to eliminate the fixed position end link bushings often found on a traditional front sway bar which limits the tire size. This kit also includes a fully adjustable heim-joint end link setup allowing for multiple mounting positions and pre-load adjustments. The bars are hollow to reduce weight and the working portion of the bar is shorter to increase roll resistance.

Pro-Touring Rear Adjustable Sway Bar (6472ARSBK)

6472ARSBK fits 1964-1972 A-Body/Chevelle

CPP’s new adjustable rear sway bar kits feature billet ends welded to the center portion of the sway bar to allow for more clearance around the shock mounts.  With some applications, the shocks would interfere with our Rear Pro-touring Sway bar kits.  This new fully adjustable design will give you the benefits of our Rear Pro-Touring Sway Bar kits with more space and more roll resistance.  These sway bars will fit both stock and aftermarket Rear Ends with a 3” axle tube.  Kits come complete with gloss black frame mount brackets and all the necessary hardware for an easy install.
