Our Friends over at All Chevy Performance install a CPP power steering conversion kit on a 1964 Chevelle
Power steering—once a luxury option when many of our favorite cars were made is something taken for granted on a modern car. If you just picked up a project vehicle and it has manual steering, get ready! Whether you’re trying to maneuver a parking lot or attempting to parallel park, it’s not especially fun. And if you’ve got manual steering, odds are you probably don’t have A/C either so you’ll definitely be breaking a sweat every time you drive.
Once the “honeymoon phase” has passed and you decide you really do need power steering, CPP has the parts you need. But what does it take to do the conversion? Luckily, the guys over at All Chevy Performance just wrapped up a full install story in the latest issue of the magazine.
